About Me

I am a graduate of the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC...class of 95. I received my Bachelor of Science in education. I am certified in the areas of learning disabled and educable mentally disabled for grades K-12. I taught in middle and high schools in Charleston, SC for six and a half years. While in Charleston, I received an award from the SC Department of Education for Volunteer of the Year. I received the award for continued educational service to homeless children and adolescents.
After moving to Greenville in 2001, I taught at Berea Middle School for several years before moving to Greenville High.  I have taught in GCSD for seventeen years.  This year will be my twenty-fourth year as a teacher.
I was borned and raised in Laurens, SC.  While my time in Charleston was wonderful, there is nothing like Upstate South Carolina.  Much of my family still lives in this area and being with them is one of my greatest joys.

I will be serving students in the Inclusion setting for Math.

I am looking forward to working with a new group of our community's finest young people. I am thrilled to be a part of the Berea High School family.
