3rd Quarter
Progress reports were sent home Feb. 18. We are studying electricity and magnetism and will move to simple machines soon. Make sure you have clear tape for your journals and check the online journals on the links above. |
Report Cards
Report cards were sent home Jan. 26. Study by watching the video in the right-hand column. There will be a quiz on energy forms and transformations Friday. Make sure you have a new composition book and tape for your energy journal. |
Study for the Benchmark
Study by reading the entire Animal Science Journal (link above) and the end of the Plant Journal (link above) including photosynthesis, respiration, transpiration and tropisms. Quiz yourself on he vocabulary words! Make sure you know the difference between physical and behavioral responses. Know the characteristics of each of the 10 groups of animals we studied. Our benchmark is Thurs., Jan. 21. Most importantly, if you need help, ASK! |
New Year, New Things to Learn!
We have about two weeks to complete our unit on animals! We will learn about inherited and learned behaviors, and physical and behavioral responses. There will be another project that will include everything we have learned about animals this school year. Then, the benchmark exam will be taken Thursday, January 21. Study the vocabulary words and the animal science journal! Plant tropisms, photosynthesis, respiration and transpiration will also be on the benchmark. |
